Mission Statement
I strive to foster a safe and educational space within collections to provide members of the public with experiences that further expand their appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures.
Vision Statement
I will use my expertise in database and collections management to create and encourage the open exchange of techniques, practices, and information for all aspects of the museum field.
Transparency
In order to regain the trust of marginalized communities, museums must now work towards making their practices transparent in exhibition and collections.
Diversity
Museums need to strive to create an environment that represents their audiences by incorporating their diverse voices.
Preservation
Museums act as stewards of material culture and therefore should always be dedicated to the preservation of the objects in which they have been entrusted.
Accessibility
Creating accessibility options is the foundation of building a relationship between a museum and their community.
